Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (AVECO)
The voice for chief executives in the third sector, ACEVO has over 2,000 members nationwide and works to help support, develop, connect and represent third sector leaders.

Black Training and Enterprise Group (BTEG)
BTEG is a national networking organisation providing a voice to government for black and minority ethnic service providers. BTEG seeks to influence policy development whilst providing organisational support for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations so that they can play a greater role in decision making, delivering services and new product development.

Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES)
Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) is an independent think-doing organisation,with charitable status, involved in regeneration, local economic development and local governance. CLES brings together a network of subscribing organisations, which includes regeneration partnerships, local authorities, regional bodies, community groups and voluntary organisations.

Community Network for Manchester (CN4M)
CN4M is an organisation with charitable status which specialises in enabling voluntary and community sector groups to use their knowledge and understanding of local communities to make a difference in Manchester.

Community Foundation for Greater Manchester
Community Foundation for Greater Manchester works to improve, develop and support the many local charity, voluntary and community organisations in Greater Manchester. They provide funding, advice, support and encouragement to empower organisations, with the ultimate aim of improving lives and communities.

Compact Voice
Compact Voice is the voice of the voluntary sector on the Compact — an agreement between the sector and the Government to ensure better working together. They provide training and resources, and represent the sector’s concerns to the government.

Directory of Social Change (DSC)
DSC is an independent charity with a vision of an independent voluntary sector at the heart of social change. They provide essential information and training to the voluntary sector to enable charities to achieve their mission.

Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)
The EHRC has a statutory remit to promote and monitor human rights; and to protect, enforce and promote equality across the seven “protected” grounds – age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and gender reassignment.

Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation (GMCVO)
GMCVO is the third sector support organisation for the city region of Greater Manchester. It represents, promotes and develops voluntary organisations, working in partnership with other relevant local and national support organisations.

Greater Manchester Voluntary Sector Support (GMVSS)
GMVSS is a partnership of organisations that provide support to the voluntary and community sector in Greater Manchester. Their aim is to improve and strengthen the voluntary and community sector in Greater Manchester through a collaborative, co-ordinated approach.

Manchester BME NetworkManchester BME Network is organisations, groups and individuals working in the BME VCS across Manchester. It focuses on the key needs of BME organisations and groups as well as the issues impacting on BME communities. The membership is diverse and currently stands at around 200 members. Networking and other support events take place on a regular basis.

Manchester Council for Community Relations (MCCR)
MCCR is Manchester’s Equalities Hub. It works towards the elimination of racial discrimination and the promotion of equal opportunities, diversity and community cohesion in Manchester and parts of Greater Manchester.

Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN)MRSN is a grass-roots organisation directly managed by refugee communities, based in Ancoats, Manchester. MRSN serves the Greater Manchester area.MRSN aims to build strong and independent refugee community organisations, develop the skills of community leaders and give people the information they need to settle and build new lives. Their work focuses on development of refugee organisations, advocacy and campaigns, and advice and orientation.

National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA)
NAVCA is the national voice of local support and development organisations in England. They champion and strengthen voluntary and community action by supporting their members in their work with over 160,000 local charities and community groups. NAVCA provide members with networking opportunities, specialist advice, support, policy information and training.

National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)
NCVO is a lobbying organisation and represents the views of its members, and the wider voluntary sector to government, the European Union and other bodies. They also carry out research and analysis of the voluntary sector.

Refugee Action
Refugee Action is an independent national charity working with refugees to build new lives in the UK. They provide practical advice and assistance for newly arrived asylum seekers and long‐term commitment to their settlement through community development work. As one of the country’s leading agencies in the field, Refugee Action has over 20 years’ experience in pioneering innovative work in partnership with refugees.Refugee Action has a Greater Manchester team offering asylum advice, Refugee Integration and Employment Service (RIES), and many specialist projects serving Greater Manchester and the North West.

Refugee Council
The Refugee Council is ahuman rights charity and the largest organisation in the UK working with asylum seekers and refugees. They give direct help and support to refugees and asylum seekers and also ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.

Urban Forum
Urban Forum is a national charity and a membership organisation that supports communities to have a greater say over decisions that affect them. They work with their members to influence government policy and by supporting them to influence decision-making locally.

Voice 4 Change England (V4CE)
Voice4Change England is a national support organisation for the Black and Minority Ethnic Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector (BME VCS). The BME VCS is made up of non-profit organisations who strive for the benefit of communities and civil society at large. V4CE are a leading voice in public policy, informing and influencing practice that has a direct affect on the development, delivery and impact of the BME VCS.

Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW)
VSNW is the regional voluntary sector network for the North West.  Their purpose is to support a connected and influential voluntary and community sector (VCS). Besides working for a well represented sector, their current areas of work include supporting VCS health and social care networking and policy, influencing regional strategy and funding on behalf of the VCS, and supporting increased VCS influence over European policy and funding.

One North West (1NW)
One North West is the regional Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Network. They work with BME third sector organisations across the North West to promote opportunities to connect with each other, to share good ideas and to influence decisions to achieve greater race equality and improved social justice.
